Vintage Rare U.S.A. Return, Exchange & Store Credit Policy

At Vintage Rare U.S.A., we specialize in authentic vintage and collectible apparel. Due to the unique nature of vintage merchandise, every item is carefully inspected, measured, photographed, and described before being offered for sale.

Please review our policy carefully before placing an order.

Understanding Vintage Merchandise

Vintage clothing is pre-owned and may show signs of age, wear, fading, distressing, repairs, discoloration, or other characteristics consistent with its age and history. These characteristics are considered part of the garment's authenticity and appeal and are not considered defects unless specifically misrepresented.

We strongly encourage customers to review all photographs, measurements, descriptions, and condition notes prior to purchase.

Return Eligibility

We accept return requests within 15 days of the delivery date.

To qualify for a return, the item must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and unused after delivery.
  • Remain in the same condition in which it was received.
  • Include all original tags (if applicable).
  • Be free from odors, stains, pet hair, smoke exposure, alterations, or damage.
  • Include proof of purchase.

All return requests require a Return Authorization (RA) Number issued by Vintage Rare U.S.A.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Because vintage clothing is unique and often one-of-a-kind, returns will not be accepted for:

  • Sale, clearance, promotional, or discounted items.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items that have been worn, washed, damaged, or altered after delivery.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all listed measurements before purchasing. Vintage sizing often differs significantly from modern sizing, and tagged sizes should not be relied upon as the sole sizing reference.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please email:

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Item name
  • Reason for the return request
  • Photographs (if applicable)

Once approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) Number and return instructions.

Returns must be shipped to:

Returns received without an authorized RA Number may be refused or returned to the sender.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to:

  • An incorrect item shipped by Vintage Rare U.S.A.
  • A significant error in the item description.
  • An undisclosed defect that materially affects the item's condition or value.

We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as we are not responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.

Store Credit Policy

Due to the collectible and one-of-a-kind nature of our inventory, approved returns are generally issued as store credit only.

Store credit:

  • Will be issued after the returned item has been received and inspected.
  • Is valid for one (1) year from the original purchase date.
  • Is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • May be used toward any eligible future purchase on our website.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refund Exceptions

Refunds to the original payment method may be approved at our sole discretion if:

  • The wrong item was shipped.
  • The item received differs materially from the listing description.
  • The item arrives damaged due to an issue attributable to Vintage Rare U.S.A.

If approved, refunds will be processed within 5 business days after inspection and approval of the returned item. Financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, or is missing an item, contact us within 72 hours of delivery at:

Please include photographs of the packaging, shipping label, and item(s) received so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

Right to Refuse Returns

Vintage Rare U.S.A. reserves the right to refuse any return, exchange, store credit, or refund request if:

  • The item does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
  • The item shows signs of wear, washing, alteration, or damage after delivery.
  • The return request falls outside the applicable return period.
  • The item was accurately described and photographed prior to purchase.

European Union Customers

For orders shipped to countries within the European Union, customers may have the right to cancel or return their purchase within 14 days of receipt in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Returned merchandise must remain unworn, unused, and in its original condition, with all tags and packaging intact. Proof of purchase is required.
